Pennington Distilling Co. is looking for whiskey enthusiasts to join our front-of-house staff. As the public face of Pennington Distilling Co. (PDC), you are distilling a memorable Nashville experience for each customer by conducting engaging and enthusiastic tours, answering all customer questions, and more. 


Additionally, the Front of House Staff will be expected to update their PDC product knowledge continuously. Compensation includes hourly pay, tips, and commission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • This is a consumer-facing role. Public speaking in front of small to large groups is required

    Greet customers upon entering the gift shop and facilitate online check-ins.

    Explain on-site product offerings from the PDC line and address customer inquiries.

    Bartend by preparing simple cocktails and pouring tasting samples.

  • Provide an enthusiastic, entertaining, and informative distillery tour to customers.

    Direct and assist customers with their selections in the gift shop.

  • Operate the Square Retail tablet for efficient financial transactions.

    Stay updated on ongoing promotions and special opportunities for customers.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly appearance throughout the tasting bar, gift shop, and restroom.

    Ensure cleanliness of the gift shop and bar area.

  • Provide assistance at off-site events as needed.

    Assist during on-site monthly events.

  • Ability to build superior knowledge of PDC history and products.

    Ability to recognize the signs of intoxication and handle an inebriated customer responsibly.

  • This role is a full-time position equivalent to 32-40 hours weekly.

    Expected to work weekends and nights as needed.

    Demonstrate a willingness to contribute to various production tasks as needed.
